After Griner’s annulment with her previous wife, Glory Johnson, all the AD and Griner rumors started flying. Moreover, Anthony Davis himself once commented on the Phoenix Mercury star.
Davis said, “She is everything to me… We have an amazing relationship and have so much in common. We even wear the same size clothes and shoes so sometimes she borrows a shirt or two from me.“
However, Davis and Griner’s relationship ended shortly after. Rumors about the two started all the way back in 2013. Moreover, it was during this time that all the engagement talks also started.
Davis himself took to Twitter to rubbish all the claims surrounding his engagement with Griner. He said, “Whoever made that rumor up about me being engaged is corny. I am NOT engaged people!!”

The Los Angeles Lakers star tied the knot with Marlen P in 2021. The two share a girl together named Nala. On the other hand, Griner married Charelle Watson in 2019.
