Steve Kerr has been an invaluable asset to the Golden State Warriors. Rejecting the New York Knicks’ proposal, he joined the men in yellow and blue back in 2014. Ever since the beginning of his five-year deal, he has led the franchise to some historic triumphs. Many-a-time, he was counted out and declared as unfit to march towards victory. GSW is currently miles ahead of the playing field, comfortably topping the Western Conference. Their only loss has come against the Memphis Grizzlies, wherein they were toppled in OT. As a result, their current record stands at 11-1, and they are practically unstoppable. Along with the untamed #30, Kerr has managed to build an all-round setup. With Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and his defenders cohesively wrecking opposition, the 56-year-old is getting the rewards for his work.

During a recent press event, Kerr made a hilarious analogy of himself to Arya Stark of popular show Game of Thrones. And here’s why. “I’m like Arya from Game of Thrones,” revealed the former NBA champion. “I have all the names of the media members who picked us to be outside the playoffs, and I’m just checking off the box. Every time I see one of those guys, I give them a little glare and they know what that means.” The young girl from GoT was known for observing all the wrongs in silence, before getting her redemption eventually.
