Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant had a lot of things in common. They were not only serial winners, but their games also mirrored each other. Along with that, they had the ultimate dedication and determination to win. And this inspired NFL star Russell Wilson, who called their trainer to help him out.

He says he always had a performance team, but at one point, he felt he needed to get Tim. He learned from his rookie year that he had to invest in himself. And whatever he invested came back multiple times. And Wilson wasn’t hesitant to hit up Tim as he messaged him directly and Tim responded to the star quarterback.

Grover trained Jordan for 15 years and it was Jordan who introduced Kobe to Tim. Kobe was struggling without Shaq for a few years, and since Tim became his trainer, he went to three straight finals and won two more titles. Grover stated that both the players were very similar in how they understood the process and how they were able to grab things very quickly.
