If LeBron James was to count his most fierce rivals on one hand, then the likes of Steph Curry and Kevin Durant will definitely be a part of it. While they have given him sleepless nights, he’s showing that there’s nothing but respect for them.

All of this came from a fanboy tweet from Laker Kyle Kuzma. He has been grabbing eyeballs on social media lately, where the forward was fanboying on Drake’s recent album. The Canadian is a huge hit in the music as well as the NBA community.

On one of his singles, ‘Lemon Pepper Freestyle’, he collaborated with Rick Ross. The duo has been in partnership before successfully and their new song is much of a hit as their previous ones.

This led to Kuzma comparing the rap duet to the one that Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen had with Chicago Bulls. But, to this LeBron James had a different comparison to make.

Is LeBron insinuating that Steph-KD is a better duo than MJ-Pippen? Or is he simply praising them ahead of their meeting at the 2021 NBA All-Star game in Atlanta? We hope the latter is true.

Steph Curry drafted by LeBron James in the 2021 NBA All-Star draft

The likes of LeBron and Curry have been on the opposite sides of it before. In 2018, when this format first came into existence, they were the respective captains from each conference. And back then, LeBron picked Kevin Durant with his first pick.

Now, when it was his turn to have KD as the rival captain and Steph, one of the starter picks. So, he drafted him third overall after each of them picked Kyrie Irving and Giannis Antetokounmpo. This was somewhat surprising, as the TNT crew pointed out, as they expected LeBron to pick his protege, Luka Doncic, before.

But, this was a clear show of admiration and respect for his onetime heated rival. We hope that they have a blast together at the exhibition game.
