Rather than his basketball performance, NBA star Kyle Kuzma has been making headlines on the internet with his recent fashion walk. In his New York Fashion Week show with Puma, Kuzma wore an eye-raising outfit that sparked strong reactions from fans. 

This 6’9″ Washington Wizards forward seems to have no plans to wait for another NBA season to make a fashion statement. His fashion choice has made him go viral during the off-season. A hooded, black-and-white outfit with a long skirt was Kuzma’s choice for the runway show. 

His five-year contract with Puma was signed in 2019 while he was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. Aside from his earnings on the basketball court, the star also makes a decent income off the court.

“For me, I have the best of both worlds. I’m pretty talented on the basketball court, but people can really relate to me off the court. From my journey, who I am, so many different things. The passions that I have people relate to. That’s kind of the big play that we’re in this world, the social media age,” he explained to Nick DePaula in October 2019.

In the aftermath of his run-walk, social media went crazy over his outfit, with some positive comments going through on Instagram. However, some fans on Twitter did not respond positively.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend, model Winnie Harlow, wore a black and white Puma outfit at the event. According to Kyle Kuzma, the outfit was great as he shared his reaction on social media, stating: “Very much an iconic moment for our brand. @juneambrose sis you absolutely did your thing. Oooooooooffff,”  while talking about Puma’s creative director, June Ambrose. 

In addition to this, Kuzma and Harlow demonstrated great chemistry on and off the stage, as they were complementing one another. It’s not the first time Kuzma has made headlines for his fashion statements. Previously, he has given his fans a wide selection of outfits to choose from.
