Stephen Curry’s wife shares adorable childhood love story

Believe it or not, the Currys weren’t always as close as they are now. In spite of being childhood buddies, there was a stage when neither of them could profess their love for one another. Married for a decade now, Wardell and Ayesha have three kids as well. But when they were of that age, they both had some problems. Seldom has Curry been rejected on the court. Yet, he recently spoke about how rejection from Ayesha sent shivers down his spine. Asked by the parents why he never asked his future wife out during their younger days, Golden State’s #30 said, “I always had my eye on her, but I got a little shaken [to ask her] for sure.” In response, Ayesha made a hilarious revelation. “I wasn’t allowed to date in high school. We always laugh that we were both focused on god,” she said. She proceeded to reveal that she dodged Curry’s first kiss too.
