Stephen Curry talks about his relationship.

It was described as a phenomenally awkward first kiss by the couple. Since they were in the same youth group at church, they were already familiar with one another at college. In fact, Ayesha wasn’t allowed to date anyone in high school, so she avoided Stephen’s attempts at a kiss.

I mean, it was friend vibes … until I dodged his first kiss,” Ayesha explained. “He was in mid-conversation and came flying at my face like a thief in the night. So I was like, No. Then I thought, ‘Oh, I didn’t know this is what was happening.’”

When Stephen talked about the engagement in the interview, he said that he wanted it to be special and memorable. He, therefore, planned their engagement at the same place where they had first kissed.

About this  engagement, Curry compared it to the famous movie, The Notebook. He said,” The plan was to act like we were going to a family cookout. So we pulled up to the house, and I stopped in the middle of the driveway, got down on my knee, and went into my spiel.”

He also said that he was unaware of the entire family watching them.

The couple got married in 2011. They have been blessed with three beautiful children: Riley Elizabeth, Canon W. Jack, and Ryan Carson Curry.

Initially, it was tough for Stephen to like someone who wasn’t allowed to date at that time. This led to a difficult situation. Eventually, they reconciled.
