Dubbed as championship favorites before the start of the season, the Golden State Warriors are looking nowhere near a team looking to fight for the title. Although they looked good a few months ago after the return of Klay Thompson, an injury to Stephen Curry has left the team helpless.

Talking on the Draymond Green Show, he further clarified his statement. Green said, “I’m not afraid to say that. What I didn’t say in the reality is that falls on me. That’s my category, that’s where I excel, that’s where I lead. I have to be better at that, I can’t let that happen, so that falls on me. You know, someone asked me last night, “Would that be different if Steph Curry is in the game?” and the answer is no.

He added, “It wouldn’t be because that’s not Steph Curry’s duty. If I’m failed at that, no matter who’s on the floor, Steph Curry’s not coming to make us tougher.
