Stephen Curry shared some of his high school basketball stories during a recent interview with Quentin and Darius. During the interview, he mentioned many instances regarding his childhood involving basketball. Curry talked about how he used to play basketball when he was 13 years old, but he stopped for a few years, and then when he was 17 years old, he picked it up again.

He also talked about how, as a result of his father’s 16-year NBA career as a sharpshooter, he was raised around the sports. It also helped him in his career, but he also had to deal with some difficulties while achieving his life’s goals. During the interview, he talked about how “getting bulldozed” in high school helped his career in the NBA.

In addition to being a 3-time NBA champion, Curry is ranked 1st All-Time in 3 pointers made in NBA history. Additionally, he has achieved many records as well, including making the most 3-point field goals in the postseason (470).

He has also made the most threes in the NBA Finals (121). This list doesn’t end here, as he takes four of the top five single-season marks. Throughout his childhood, he has been working hard, but he also had to struggle that nobody has seen. The struggles he faced led him to where he is today.

In North Carolina, his basketball career began at Charlotte Christian High School. There, too, he achieved many accomplishments as a basketball player. In the midst of working hard every day, he shared some of the times he had in high school.

When working on improving his game, he recalled, “I played until I was 13 and then I didn’t play until I was 17 and those three years I just played school ball and a lot of it was because I was such a late bloomer like physically I could not keep up.”

He then mentioned his time at the Amateur Athletic Union, saying, “I’f you’re faster strongest tallest you’re probably gonna shine you know the skilled guy isn’t really necessarily highlighted like that at that level and so it wasn’t doing me any good to get out there and just get bulldozed every game so those three years you know got to work on my game”.

The fact that Curry has worked hard every day to reach where he is today is undeniable. Despite his continued success, there are more records that have to be broken by him as his fans expect him to become the greatest ever.
