Addressing the name change and how bad the Lakers are, Shaq said, “I don’t celebrate seventh place at all. I celebrate Steph Curry. I’ll go to Golden State and watch him play.”

The Warriors are currently in second place, right behind the championship favorites Phoenix Suns in the western conference. Shaq’s former team, the Los Angeles Lakers on the other hand are having a horrific season. They are currently struggling for a playoff spot in their conference as they are in the 9th position.
