Shaquille O’Neal on making his ex-girlfriend jealous
One thing about Shaquille O’Neal is his zeal during parties. He has made various appearances at popular music festivals around the world and can be seen enjoying himself.
Sometimes his energy can get him in trouble. Talking on The Big Podcast with Shaq, he talked about an incident that resulted in his problems.

When asked about his relationship with popular singer Janet Jackson, Shaq had a lot to say. He said, “Let me tell ya’ll what happened. My beautiful woman at the time was Arnetta. I don’t go to R’n’B concerts, that’s not what I do. She [Arnetta] was like take me to a Janet Jackson concert.”
Shaq further adds, “ I’m sitting there and a Spanish dude comes and tells me, “Hey man I work for Janet, she is calling you on stage.”
Shaq then talks about an uncomfortable dance with Jackson on stage. After which she calls him behind the stage all the while Shaq’s girlfriend is watching them. He says, ” When I came out, you should have seen the expression on her [Arnetta] face.“
Who was Shaq’s girlfriend during that time?
The woman in Shaquille O’Neal’s life during the infamous incident with Janet Jackson was Arnetta Yardbourgh. She is an American businesswoman and a philanthropist.
She is the founder and president of AY&ASSOCIATES LLC which is a wellness and consulting firm. Arnetta dated NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal for four years, from 1992 to 1996. She gave birth to Shaq’s eldest daughter, Taahirah O’Neal in 1996.
Although the two have broken up, they maintain a civil relationship to take care of their child.
