REPORTS: Frank Vogel very close to getting ousted by the Lakers

Following their poor run of games, the legendary Magic Johnson lashed out at the roster. He firmly asserted that owner Jeanie Buss deserved better and that the team had no sense of effort or urgency. In the aftermath of this, mainstay LeBron James issued a public apology, which perhaps motivated the team to their rout of Rudy Gobert and Utah.

In a shock report from The Athletic, however, it has been confirmed that Frank Vogel’s job still hangs in the balance. The coach has reiterated on numerous occasions that the team lacked the x-factor and that the disappointed group was looking to improve.

For months now, the 2020 NBA championship-winning coach’s position has been in jeopardy, now more than ever. According to the report, the owners and management are still not impressed, and may well be on the lookout for reinforcements.

Will Frank Vogel be replaced soon as the gaffer? Although he has done an incredible job as head coach of LA, a timid run will always raise doubts. Let’s wait and watch.
