The Nets’ comeback was the first time Kyrie and Durant played together at MSG. They announced themselves in the best way possible and had the Knick fans in shock. But for Smith, he knew his team would blow the lead at halftime. Reacting to the loss, the analyst couldn’t help but talk about Durant and KAI being a Knicks duo.

He said: “Did you know that Wednesday was the first time that KD and Kyrie had played together at Madison Square Garden. That just makes me want to cry that they did it playing for Brooklyn. They should have been playing for the Knicks damn it! My Knicks!”
