The Golden State Warriors made headlines recently after news came out that Draymond Green was reportedly involved in a physical altercation. The Warriors forward struck fellow teammate Jordan Poole amidst a heated argument on October 5, 2022. The incident took place during the team’s practice session and both players had to be separated after the situation escalated.

Apparently, this is not the first verbal dispute between Green and Poole. The duo was apparently involved in such arguments several times before during their practice sessions. Green has previously gotten into multiple arguments with his teammates before, but this might be the first time Green got physically aggressive with another player.

In an episode of ‘The Draymond Green Show’, Green once said that he has had verbal spats with teammates Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. It might come as a surprise to fans as both Steph and Thompson are arguably two of the most easy-going players on the team. However, Green explained that their arguments would involve Green doing most of the yelling and the ‘Splash Brothers’ ignoring it most of the time.

On October 6, 2022, the Golden State Warriors GM, Bob Myers revealed further developments on the matter. Myers said that Draymond Green?apologized to Jordan Poole following the altercation. Stating that it was an internal matter, Myers said that the team would decide on the punishment. Green reportedly walked out of the training facility after apologizing but is expected to be back for practice. Meanwhile, Poole was present for the team’s practice a day after the incident.

Furthermore, it is unknown if Green and Poole have sorted out the issue between them or what punishment Green may receive. Several NBA stars took to Twitter shortly after the incident and voiced their thoughts on the matter.
