In a podcast, she discussed a time when she was ready to end her pregnancy, but decided to carry on. This decision changed the course of basketball history, as we can see.

At the last minute, she decided not to perform the procedure in the clinic. She talked about everything during the interview as well as her almost-abortion of Stephen. Her new book, titled “Fierce Love: A Memoir of Family, Faith, and Purpose” discusses everything related to raising her children.

During the discussion of the new book, she discussed what exactly happened when she was pregnant, explaining that it wasn’t planned. She explained that: “There could be no Stephen,” she stated recently, via Sandra Rose.

In addition, she said: “If I would’ve gone through that, there would’ve been no Wardell Stephen Curry the second. You know, God had a plan for that child, and, just the spirit interceding at that moment, in a way that I didn’t even know at the moment was happening… just spoke to again the purpose of faith…”

The entire NBA, as well as the Curry family, is grateful for this decision. Because of the current family situation, there are differences between her and Dell Curry, but nothing has changed with Stephen. As a mother, she is always there for her son.
