Upon joining the Golden State Warriors, Kevin Durant caused a huge craze throughout the NBA world. Besides Stephen Curry, there were other names of star players who were among the best in that league that would now suit up for the Warriors. Despite this, there were players who seemingly got overlooked as a result.?

A good example of this is what happened to Klay Thompson back then. NBA fans were shocked by this pairing when Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors, resulting in a shift in the league’s balance. In advance of the season, they all attended a concert featuring Drake in 2017.?

The concert was taking place at Oakland’s Oracle Arena. In addition to Durant, who was the Warriors’ newest member, all of them attended the concert. Recently, Curry was featured on JJ Redick’s podcast, ‘The Old Man & The Three’.

He recounted many hilarious stories of the era during the interview. Additionally, he discussed the recent season and what his team’s plans are for winning the league. Steph recalled that all three players: KD, Curry, and Draymond Green?were present at the concert.?

Drake forgets the name of one of the Warriors’ star-studded team

Stephen Curry talked about Drake, and he mentioned the rapper getting into a lift during the show, that would pass over the arena and the fans. Curry said Drake couldn’t help but acknowledge the Warriors players when the lift went over them in the VIP section.?

As he was discussing the team’s progress and Durant joining the team, Drake seemingly forgot the name of one of Curry’s teammates. “He goes past and he’s like, ‘Oh, we’re in Oracle Arena! It’s crazy. Y’all the champs. That was a tough year. Man, y’all got Steph, Draymond, KD now, oh, uh, No. 11,'” added Curry.?
