The guard was apparently confronted by the Warriors’ forward for his comments on Pistons’ Wayne Ellington.

Dubs’ guard, Klay Thompson had some cold words for McGruder. Thompson who was the guest commentator for the game said, “Oh no, this dude might be out the league soon. He’s probably mad about that. Who knows? He’ll be checking my guy.”

He added, “Trying to start something like he’s a good player. Some psycho, get out of here. You might be sorry. All right, we’re done.”

Warriors’ Draymond Green chimes in on McGruder incident

Warriors’ forward Draymond Green also chimed in on the McGruder incident. In the post-game press conference, took shots on the Pistons’ guard and dismissed him as being a tough guy.

He said, “I don’t know. I was in the locker room. But apparently, he was taking up for Wayne Ellington. When the f–k did Rodney McGruder become the tough guy? I don’t know, man; everybody in the league tough these days.”

He expressed his frustration on McGruder’s behavior.“It’s crazy. I’ve seen a lot of tough guys this year. I don’t understand it. And don’t nobody do anything.

“Like if you really wanted to do something, you could have done it. Walking over there talking s–t like he the team tough guy. Get the hell outta here. F–king tough guy Rodney.”

Green added, “There’s too many tough guys in this league these days for me. But I know no one scared of no damn Rodney McGruder; like f–king kidding me? It’s crazy.”

This only says not to mess with the Warriors who have got each other’s back and are not afraid to take shots at anyone.
