Shaquille O’Neal is loved by many because of his larger-than-life personality. However, he was a completely different man on the court. The 7’1 tall Shaq was a nightmare to opposition defenders and often did the bulk of the scoring for his team. He earned the Finals MVP award three times in his career, leading the Lakers to three straight championships from 2000 to 2002 alongside Kobe Bryant.

However, Bryant demanded to trade Kobe in 2004 after internal differences within the team. The duo never played together in the NBA and Bryant also revealed that he regretted asking to let go of Shaq. Thus, O’Neal’s personality is hard to ignore whether he is in the court or off it.
