Trevor Ariza close to return for the Lakers?

The Lakers are set to face their city rivals, Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. While Ariza isn’t playing, he is making progress in his recovery. He took part in some shooting drills right before the game against the Clippers and is looking much more comfortable on his ankle.

Ariza is one of the guys who plays hard every possession. He was only recently cleared for no contact practice. Vogel spoke about his return and said they weren’t keeping a timetable for him.

However, it is clear that he is doing his best to get back on the floor as soon as possible.

Since the start of the season, the Lakers have believed Ariza will be the key to unlock their potential. His ability to guard the 3 and 4 to go with his shooting ability will contribute majorly.
