Recently, the four-time NBA champion posted a reel of himself while Imagine Dragons play their superhit song, ‘Believer’ in the background. However, it is not just any random reel video. O’Neal is lip-syncing to the video which has left NBA fans on Instagram in splits.

Fans react as Shaquille O’Neal hilariously fails in lip syncing

Former Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat icon Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most active retired athletes on social media platforms. He often updates his fans on Instagram either by posting or putting something up on his story.

His recent reel shows the 50-year-old lip-syncing to a popular song by Imagine Dragons which has sent NBA fans into a frenzy. One fan wrote, “Ima need you to learn some of the words” while another user wrote, “Your lip syncing sucks Shaq…lol.

One user pointed out one of Shaq’s biggest flaws in basketball. The fan wrote, “His lip sync is as good as his free throws.” Moreover, one user called the NBA legend out for faking as they wrote, “That’s a tough one to fake.”

As the fan pointed out in Shaq’s comment section, the Big Aristotle was pretty bad at free throws. Although he is one of the greatest players ever, he had one major flaw.

More often than not, opposition teams used O’Neal’s flaw to their advantage. They developed the ‘Hack-a-Shaq’ tactic which comprised fouling Shaq on purpose.

This forced him to the free throw line. O’Neal being horrible at free throws would miss a lot of chances and the teams used this to their advantage. 

The four-time NBA champion shot 52.7 percent from the free throw line during his glorious NBA career. His flaw did not hold him back as he left the league with a glamourous trophy cabinet.
