Interestingly enough, Jordan offered LeBron help during his initial years. According to eminent journalist Jackie MacMullan, LeBron ditched Jordan’s offer for help. Instead, he ended up taking the help of Houston Rockets legend and Jordan’s rival Hakeem Olajuwon’s help.

Interestingly enough, Jordan offered a young LeBron help. However, James consulted Houston Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon after ditching Jordan.

This came after the horrific final loss against the Dallas Mavericks when King James played for the Miami Heat. Revealing shocking details regarding Bron, Jackie MacMullan had a lot to say.

She said, “Michael Jordan went to a young LeBron James and said just like Dr J said to him. If you ever need anything, call. And in our series, Jordan says, and to his credit, Jordan gets it, because he is not offended by that.”

MacMullan adds, “Let’s not forget that after that horrific series against Dallas in the finals when we are all wondering, wow, maybe LeBron James is a mirage after all. Where did he go? You know where he went. He went down to see Hakeem Olajuwon.

MJ revealed how he felt Olajuwon and the Rockets were one of the toughest opponents he has faced. Former Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich said, “ He gave our team great respect. He didn’t feel that they could contain Hakeem. They just didn’t have the personnel to do it. And he said he thought we were the team that gave them the most trouble.”
