With this disappointing season, a major rebuild is expected to take place. One of the biggest names doing the rounds of the internet is Russell Westbrook. The former MVP had a disappointing season, which sparked major rumors regarding his future.

Moreover, there have been increasing rumors of a major rebuild. One of the biggest names linked to the rebuild is Russell Westbrook.

The former MVP did not have his best season, which has left people in two minds regarding this future. However, the latest comments by LeBron James give some assurance to Westbrook and the Lakers fanbase. Taking to Instagram, LeBron commented on Westbrook’s post. His comment read, “HIM! Solid as they come.”

Whether Westbrook will stay or not is a decision the front office will need to take soon. His huge wages pose a problem while trading which will pose a problem if the team decides to ship him off.

This season, Westbrook averaged 18.5 points, 7.1 assists, and 7.4 rebounds. Considering his previous triple-double records, these numbers are dismal indeed.

Furthermore, his shooting has posed a problem for LeBron James and the team the entire season. He averaged 15.8 field goal attempts this season while only averaging 7.0 field goals this season.
