Even since LeBron James said that he wants to play with his son for a season, there has been a lot of speculation about his next destination. And with only one season remaining on his contract with the Lakers, a lot of teams will be vying for his signature. Now a former teammate of LeBron has given him a suggestion on where to end his career.

LeBron will be a free agent after next season. The next season for the Lakers will be a very interesting one. There are high chances that Anthony Davis gets traded. Russell Westbrook has a $47 million dollar player option and the Lakers will find it tough to get rid of him. If next season goes down the same way it did, the Lakers will have a tough time keeping LeBron.

Now, his friend and former teammate, Kevin Love seems to have a solution that allows LeBron to stay a contender and gives him a shot to play with his son.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the favorites to be LeBron’s next team. He has played for them twice before and also led them to their first franchise title. LeBron always has spoken highly of Cleveland and he loves the fans there.

The Cavs will have a lot of cap space for LeBron. Love, Caris LeVert, Darius Garland, and Collin Sexton are all on expiring contracts. They will have to resign a few of them but they can sign LeBron if they want to.

Bronny cannot enter the NBA until 2024. So LeBron could join the Cavs on a two-year deal and play out his final year with his son back home. Love says there is a text chain where they discuss future plans and other stuff. He said, “When he got the Razzie for worse actor, we sent him that we thought that was pretty funny. But now he takes everything in stride. There is nothing off-limits.”

Even though speculation is rife that LeBron may leave the Lakers, he has said several times that he loves it there and would want to end his career in LA. But only time will tell what will happen, especially when Bronny is so close to joining the NBA.
