Over the years, Kevin Love has had a mental battle when it came to basketball. He was losing his love for the game. The man who was a big part of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 triumph, however, made his way back. In addition, he even solidified his love when he got married to his wife, Kate Bock. With all his iconic teammates in the venue, LeBron James pinned down an emotional message for the new couple.

Back in 2014, LeBron James made an epic return to his home team the Cavaliers. After winning two titles with the Miami Heat, the King wanted to deliver on his promise. Having a young Kyrie Irving paved the way for sure, but the addition of Kevin Love changed the entire dynamic. He was probably the best power forward at the time. Only two years after the blockbuster trade, Love helped LeBron fulfill his promise in an impossible 3-1 Finals series comeback.

The Akron Hammer traveled to watch his best friend get married to the love of his life. In addition, he also had a message as he reunited with his old running mates.

Love and Bock first met each other in New York City in 2015 over a cup of coffee. After their first date itself, they knew there was something there. The duo went official after James and Love captured the 2016 NBA championships. Later, in 2021, Kevin Love took the knee to ask Bock to marry him.

And now, the two got married in New York City with all their people right there around them. Even LeBron James couldn’t help but get emotional seeing one of his closest friends take the next step in life. The King took to Instagram to share a message.

James said: “Man what a moment in time I’ll never forget!! Seeing my brother marry his best friend was INCREDIBLE!!! I love you guys more than you’ll ever imagine and I’m always here for you guys!!! Everyone welcome to the stage Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Love!!

Almost the entire Cleveland Cavaliers team was there to see their very own celebrate one of his best days. Even after James left the Cavaliers, his relationship with Love didn’t take a single hit. Notably, even after LeBron practically murdered Love with a ruthless dunk, the two were laughing over it all along. Their bond extends much over their time together. And it became clear with James’ emotional message to Love and his former teammates.
