The LeBron James-Michael Jordan GOAT debate is often discussed. Both stars have helped change the course of the league, making it through with their illustrious careers. Of course, every once in a while, the two stars are compared, statistically or otherwise.

In his most recent post, James ended up sharing a new record he made, easily furthering his GOAT point.
Both James and Jordan have their own statistical plus points, dominating for most points during their career. James, however, seems to be highlighting his consistency since his debut. After all, one cannot deny how consistent King James has been, especially with his averages with any team he has played with.
Is LeBron James the true GOAT over Michael Jordan?
As per most recent stats, James is now the oldest in the NBA to average 30 points per game at 37 years of age. Interestingly, James was also the youngest to average 30 points when he was 21. James has been in the NBA for nearly two decades and clearly has no plans of slowing down yet.

Despite being at the tail end of his career, James continues to score. Often, players slow down a bit and even start playing from the bench in a few cases. James, however, is spending time on his body, making sure to work towards his performance.
“Aging like fine,” James wrote on IG.

Fans seemed to agree, calling him their GOAT. The stat shared is iconic on its own, proving that not everyone who is 37 can play at James’ level. Furthermore, James’ game has retained consistency despite the Los Angeles Lakers struggling this season.
How much did Jordan score with the Wizards?
Jordan, on his end, ruled the NBA till he was with the Chicago Bulls. The last few years of his career were spent with the Washington Wizards, where Jordan averaged around 20 points per game. Though it was an impressive score for someone his age, it is not as high as James’ average with the Lakers.
