Kevin Durant is someone who knows all about super teams. He has played for the Golden State Warriors, which comprised superstars like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, among others.

Talking in an interview, KD said, “I feel like when you have a player that’s reached elite status in this game where he could just control the game, that’s when you should go for it. When you got the top-five player in the league, it’s like, all right, I know I have something to lean on in the games. Like, let’s build around this.”

He added, “I mean, if you see potential in that, then you don’t want to waste all your assets early. You want to put, you know, on trying to compete for a championship when your best player is still developing. Once you get to that elite status, that’s what you should go for.

Interestingly enough, his current team, the Brooklyn Nets, revolves around stars like Kyrie Irving and KD himself. The team is considered one of the best teams in the league and is currently in contention for the NBA title.
