Nikola Jokic solidifies his MVP chances

Whenever someone talks about the best players in the league, Nikola Jokic simply cannot be ignored. The 6-foot-9 inch center from Siberia has been putting up phenomenal performances for the Denver Nuggets for the past few seasons and is regarded as the best center in the league by many.

He currently is second in the MVP ranking behind Joel Embiid and ahead of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Moreover, he pulled off one of the passes of the season during the recent match that speeds up his MVP push.

When the Nuggets took on the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jokic assisted his teammate with a brilliant no-look overhead pass. With such trickery under his belt, winning an MVP award for consecutive seasons does not seem difficult.

Jokic is one of the most consistent players in the league. Remarkably, using his physicality to his advantage, he comes second in the rebound leaders behind Rudy Gobert. The Serbian averages  26.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 7.9 assists this season.

Furthermore, the Nuggets are 6th in their conference and are looking comfortable for a playoff spot. This increases the chances of him winning the MVP award considerably.
