The recent gun violence in the state of Texas has taken the world by storm. NBA stars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and others have also given their opinions on the horrible disaster and the controversial gun laws.

While Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made headlines after his emphatic speech on the shooting, another Warriors star and Curry’s brother-in-law bashed the gun laws. Speaking at a press conference, Damion Lee commented upon the easy availability of guns which facilitate violence.

Lee said, “Guns shouldn’t be as easily accessible. It’s easier to get a gun than baby formula right now. That’s unbelievable. I mean, honestly, I feel like we all need to pray, figure out. Pray to whoever you pray to and we need to figure out this gun control thing. This is ridiculous.”

For the uninitiated, apart from being a teammate of Stephen Curry, he is also his brother-in-law. Lee married Steph’s sister Sydel Curry in 2018.

Curry took to Twitter and said, “Watch this as much as you watch the game tonight.” A great gesture coming from a man of Curry’s stature to shed more light on this issue.

While Steve Kerr took most of the headlines during the game, Luka Doncic and the Mavericks made the news after the game. The Mavs avoided major humiliation as they pulled one back to keep the series alive at 3-1.

Luka led the way with a phenomenal double-double as he posted 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists to help his team beat the Warriors 119-109. On the other hand, Curry recorded 20 points but shot only 7-0f-16 on the night.
