Isiah Thomas rips apart Michael Jordan

The team consisted of stars like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, and others. While everyone expected Isiah Thomas of the Detroit Pistons to make the team, he was dropped.

Many speculated that Michael Jordan was behind the exclusion of Thomas. Speaking on a podcast, Isiah Thomas ripped apart Jordan regarding this issue.

He said, “So, I didn’t make the team. This is where I go to the selectors, I go to the authorities and I tell them, ‘We should never be in a position where a player can say to the selection committee that this one can’t play.’

Thomas adds, “That’s your responsibility as the selectors. If Jordan didn’t want to play, I still think we would have won. The fact that Jordan felt that way is the first time I’ve ever heard him publicly say, ‘I hate him.'”

Although Jordan denied the allegations that he was behind the dropping of Isiah Thomas, it seems the two legends are still not over their long-standing rivalry.

Speaking of the same controversy, Jordan mentioned during The Last Dance documentary, “You want to attribute it to me, go ahead and be my guest. But it wasn’t me.”
