The Clippers must be a happy team given Kawhi Leonard has signed a 4-year extension. Remember, he’d be making less than Jimmy Butler would make with the Heat. Anyway, this signing has certainly made the Clippers the title contenders for the next few years.
However, nothing is enough when pitting against the Lakers who are a much better roster on the cards. So if the Clippers are to meet the Lakers in the postseason for the first time, they would need more weapons in their artillery. Hence comes the curious case of a potential John Wall trade.

How best can the Clippers make one such trade happen?
There are various ways the Clips Nation can go about this trade, but the most likely scenario is a crazy package. Steve Ballmer’s front office can send the duo of Luke Kennard & Eric Bledsoe in a combo including a trade exception.

Shooting guard Luke joined the Clippers only last year and could not produce a great season. Leaving out his amazing shooting accuracy as an exception, the man was an absolute failure in the postseason. On the other end, former Pelican Eric did come back to the Clippers after an eight-year gap but is yet to play for them in 2021.
This year, the Clips have already lost Nicolas Batum and re-signed Kawhi Leonard & Reggie Jackson. Now, a trade for John Wall is actually on the cards.

What can John Wall add to the roster?

The catch is, Kawhi Leonard is still dealing with a fresh surgery and might not return to the court this year. Now without him, the Clippers can still get away on their defensive side, but they might struggle big-time in the offensive end. However, with the possible incoming of JW, the Clips can treat much of this problem. With a promise of 20 ppg, John Wall can be an athletic addition, and only if he could work on his jump shots, the Clips can benefit from his spotless shooting.
As a small twist, John Wall has shown fitness issues in the recent past and also has $132 million left on his current contract.
