Interestingly enough, during a recent interview, a former Rockets star went all out to bash MJ. Vernon Maxwell was an integral part of the Rockets lineup and he faced off against Michael on multiple occasions.

Maxwell said, “You know, Mike like to do all that, help, cheating, and all that sh*t. I’m gonna be cutting his damn head open too with the damn threes. You better stay out here buddy.

Interestingly enough, Maxwell has made similar comments regarding Michael Jordan in the past as well. He once famously talked about how he isn’t intimated while playing against MJ, unlike others.

Maxwell said,I loved going up against Mike. He was the best. There is no disputing that. But unlike most people who went up against him, I wasn’t going to allow myself to be intimidated.” While Jordan temporarily retired from the league, Maxwell and the Rockets lifted the NBA title for the 1993-94 season.
