It doesn’t matter if I am confident or not you know the shot went out. Obviously I was disappointed, I thought it was in and it went in and out. So you know I was disappointed and I thought, man, I should have made that shot.”

Luka Doncic has been nothing but sensational this season, and he is averaging 29.1 points per game. Moreover, Luka was asked about the secret behind his remarkable performances in the 2020-21 NBA season. Doncic replied:

Just getting into my shot, using the legs, just let it go and just trust in your shot.”

With this defeat in the bank, the Mavericks have now dropped to the 10th spot in the Western Conference. Considering the fierce competition in the league, the organization need to reevaluate its strategy and trade for better pieces around its young star.

Considering their inconsistency, even if they make the playoffs, they won’t have a good shot of making a deep playoff run. Can the Dallas Mavericks turn around their fortune in the second half of the season? What are your thoughts on this?
