The subject of Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets has become the talk of the NBA. KAI can only play in road games for the Nets due to his stand for not following the league’s protocols. Recently, he was part of the roster which took on his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. While playing, fans were heckling at KAI, and the All-Star guard gave a cunning response.

The fans tried to get into his head. Irving reminded them about the championship he brought to the city. This didn’t get the fans to stop, but it sure was a clever response.

Cleveland took a major drop after LeBron James left for Miami. They soon became a lottery team. Luckily, they received the number one pick in the 2011 draft. Kyrie Irving reminds fans of his actions

With Kevin Durant out, the Nets took a major blow. Hence, having Irving in road games serves as a relief. However, he and James Harden couldn’t get the job done against a hot Cavaliers team. KAI led the way, but it just wasn’t enough for the Nets. When the fans started heckling at Kyrie, he had to give them a little flashback. He reminded them he won them a championship back in 2016.

He said: “Got y’all a championship and m**herf**kers still ungrateful”

This was sure a fitting response by Irving to the hecklers. Back in 206, LeBron and the Cavs were down 3-1 in the NBA finals against a record-breaking Golden State Warriors. However, they never gave up and fought their way to victory. Famously, it was Kyrie Irving who nailed the dagger over Stephen Curry to seal the deal for the Cavaliers in game 7.

He played a big part in that series behind LeBron James. He was the second-leading scorer putting up 27 points per game. His performance in the clutch helped the Cavaliers win their only title in franchise history. However, Irving went from a fan favorite to a hated star after his decision to move. KAI wanted to be the primary star on a team and he joined the Boston Celtics in 2017.
