With the season continuing in full force, their team’s superstar, the Greek Freak, seems to be enjoying a life that he has outside the basketball court. Who knew that meant attending a Harry Styles concert?

Giannis Antetokounmpo reveals unexpected fandom

Giannis Antetokounmpo has made quite a name for himself in the NBA. After all the struggles in his early life, he has reached a level where the NBA superstar is considered one of the best in the league at the moment. Not only did he win back-to-back MVPs in 2019 and 2020, but also helped his team, the Milwaukee Bucks win an NBA championship after half a century. It was an unbelievable feat.

However, Giannis does not forget to live a little alongside all the hard work and dedication he pours on the court. Even though the Milwaukee Bucks have a 4-4 record, Antetokounmpo does not let anyone or anything pull him down. So in the midst of the season, he decided to attend a Harry Styles concert. In fact, he even mocked himself for fun, while also complementing the pop star.

He wrote on Twitter, “I just went to Harry Styles concert and it was 99% women and me…”

Was the 26-YO NBA Champion hinting towards Harry’s song, Woman (2017)? Well, looks like he was simply pointing towards the singer’s crazy female following, but in a more ‘Giannis Style’.

This isn’t the first time he expressed his love for Harry Styles

Back in 2020, when the NBA season was on a hiatus, fans and some players were troubled, thinking about when will the season resume. But Giannis kept fans entertained with his social media presence as he went live on Instagram while grooving to Harry Styles’ former band ‘One Direction’.

On top of that, when someone asked him about his favorite member of the band, he wrote, “Harry and Naill”. So, technically we all should have seen this coming. It would have been completely unlike Giannis to miss a Harry Styles concert.

But now Antetokounmpo will have to get back his focus to the season. The Bucks are playing the New York Knicks next, and with Khris Middleton benched due to health and safety protocols, Giannis might have a tougher time bagging this win.
