Several of his teammates and fellow players have come in support of Westbrook and protesters against the way Westbrook has been treated. This time it was Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Former All-Star Bradley Beal.

Russ has received a lot of slander this season and things have become heated between him and the fans. Several other NBA players, including Magic Johnson, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James, have come in support of Russ. Now his former teammate Beal talked about how he was as a teammate. He also gave his thoughts on how Russ is being treated right now.

Beal was on Green’s podcast, and he was asked about Westbrook. Green asked what he thought about the notion that Westbrook was a bad teammate. He also said when asked around the league, that notion is not true.

Beal said, “That s–t pissed me off, I ain’t gonna lie, bro. It really frustrated me, especially being a guy who played with him now like the disrespect. God, that s–t got to stop, bro. Gotta stop, because we acting like this man is not a Hall of Famer, first ballot.”

He says Russ’s play may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s winning basketball. Russ may not get you a lot of points. He is a smart player, and he gets rebounds, assists, and helps out on defense. He plays with an extremely high motor and gives his 100% every night. And his former teammate seemed to agree with that.
