Beal was on Green’s podcast, and he was asked about Westbrook. Green asked what he thought about the notion that Westbrook was a bad teammate. He also said when asked around the league, that notion is not true.

Beal said, “That s–t pissed me off, I ain’t gonna lie, bro. It really frustrated me, especially being a guy who played with him now like the disrespect. God, that s–t got to stop, bro. Gotta stop, because we acting like this man is not a Hall of Famer, first ballot.”

He says Russ’s play may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s winning basketball. Russ may not get you a lot of points. He is a smart player, and he gets rebounds, assists, and helps out on defense. He plays with an extremely high motor and gives his 100% every night. And his former teammate seemed to agree with that.
