The docuseries ?The Last Dance? was an absolute hit amongst NBA fans worldwide. For those who do not know, ‘The Last Dance’ is a docuseries available on Netflix about Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. The 10-part docuseries covers a different part of MJ?s career and details a wide timeline from the start to finish of his two three-peats with the Bulls in the 90s.

The docuseries not only covers Jordan?s incident?s on the court but also things that took place off the court as well. Things that affected his decisions on the floor and off. The show is well documented, with different interviews from ex-NBA legends, reporters, supporting staff, and more.?

Floyd Mayweather loved ‘The Last Dance’

And it seems like one of the greats in the world of boxing, Floyd Mayweather might be following in the footsteps of Jordan. Like ‘The Last Dance’ docuseries, Floyd Mayweather will also be making a docuseries of his own, titled ?The GOAT.’

The upcoming docuseries will cover his life and career. All the things that took place over the course of his career, things that happened outside the ring, and more. While sitting down with TMZ Sports, Mayweather talked about the things that viewers can expect from the upcoming docuseries.

While having a conversation with filmmaker Deon Taylor, they discussed how the world wants to hear and see the story of Floyd Mayweather. What he came from and how he made it big, even larger than life for some. Taylor is the founder of Hidden Empire Films, and looks like Floyd has inked a deal with them for his upcoming series.

While talking to TMZ Sports, Mayweather was asked whether his upcoming series will be anything like the hit series ‘The Last Dance’. Floyd went on to say:??Michael Jordan is another great athlete and ‘The Last Dance’ was unbelievable. You know, I can?t really say how great my documentary will be but I think the people are in for a real awakening, they?re gonna love it.?

Another glimpse into another great athlete

Floyd went on to mention that since the beginning of his career in 1996, people have asked to cover his amateur career. Floyd said, ?I?ve been asked, ‘Floyd let?s do your amateur career. A doc on your amateur career. How your dad went to prison, how your grandmother was cleaning hotel rooms and she?s cleaning offices to take care of you and how he was living in New Brunswick, New Jersey, seven of us in one bedroom.'”

Mayweather mentioned that he comes from Michigan but he stayed in Jersey for a while with his family and that his family’s story is amazing.?
