Aside from Stephen Curry and the three-pointer record, there is another player in the town who is capturing everyone’s attention with his fantastic play for the Lakers. He is Austin Reaves, the 23-year-old rookie who came up huge during the match against Dallas Mavericks in overtime on Wednesday.

With 0.9 seconds left in the game, Reaves sealed the victory for the Lakers with his fabulous performance. The final score for the game was 107 -104. LeBron James said this about Reaves’ phenomenal performance:

“Extremely proud and excited for AR15.”

The Oklahoma standout has performed at his best with the Lakers, and this was one of his best performances to date. After the shot, he noted that:

“I grew up watching all these guys play so for me to just be teammates with them is special.“

He scored fifteen points in 32 minutes of action, as he grabbed seven rebounds, made two assists, and had a steal.

During an interview, Reaves discussed how coaches, teammates, and even James serve as an inspiration for him. In the locker room, he gets guidance from people who have won some of the major honors in the game.
