Billionaire rapper Kanye West is always in the news for some reason or the other. Recently, he had an outburst on social media which was criticized by people all around the world. However, it seems NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is not one of them.

Talking on the latest episode of his podcast, O’Neal pointed out that Kanye is a marketing genius. Interestingly enough, he has a clever little acronym for West.

Shaq said, “When are all of ya’ll people going to realize that Kanye West is a MMG.” When asked by the co-host what that acronym meant, O’Neal said, “Master Marketing Genius“.

Kanye West recently was banned from social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. This wasn’t taken well by numerous people around the world who bashed him for his antics.

For instance, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was not a fan of Kanye. Taking to his blog, he bashed the musician and also called him out for being hungry for attention. “The addiction to be relevant, to be in the public eye and on the public lips, motivates his actions”, wrote Kareem.

Interestingly enough, while Shaq might be a fan of Kanye now, it certainly wasn’t the case earlier this year. Kanye was once again in the news and this urged a response from Shaquille O’Neal.

Moreover, West was once again in the news for his social media antics. Kim Kardashian and Kanye were constantly taking their fight to social media which wasn’t taken well by Shaq. He said, “I don’t feel sorry for all these people”.

While Shaq’s opinion of Kanye might have changed over time, the rapper’s habit of taking his personal matters to Instagram certainly has not changed.
