The Golden State Warriors team is all over the news currently. However, it is not for their achievements or any incident on the court. Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green was recently involved in an altercation that is grabbing all the headlines.
Green apparently got into blows with Warriors sensation Jordan Poole. This happened during training and the staff had to get involved to contain the fight.

Interestingly enough, it seems Poole’s attitude following up to the day of the altercation was not well. According to reports, “Draymond Green was apologetic in aftermath of the altercation with Jordan Poole, but there was a buildup stemming from teammates noticing a change in Poole’s behavior throughout camp with the guard on the verge of securing a lucrative extension.“
Although Green and Poole have a history, the Golden State Warriors team felt the altercation was unwarranted. Poole burst into the scene last season and he was key in the Warriors’ playoff run to the finals.

Thanks to his phenomenal performances, he is eligible for an extension this off-season and it looks more than likely to happen very soon. Jordan Poole averaged 18.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.4 rebounds while starting 51 of the 76 games last season.
Draymond Green is likely to face disciplinary action from the team
The Golden State Warriors team news stunned the whole NBA world. Just months after winning the NBA title, it seems there is a lot of tension between teammates.
After the altercation, the team had to pause their training in order to calm the situation down. Interestingly enough, it seems that Draymond Green and Jordan Poole have a history and have had altercations before.

Green was apologetic for his actions and he will be facing some internal disciplinary action. This altercation was apparently because of Poole’s changed attitude throughout the camp.
