Recently, he bought a random couple a new washing machine and a 70-inch TV. When Shaq visited a store in Dallas, he made sure to leave his mark in his new city.

The four-time NBA champion was seen chatting with a couple inside a Best Buy store in Dallas. Interestingly enough, he paid for the washing machine the couple was buying and he added a TV to their shopping cart. Acts like these make Shaquille O’Neal one of the world’s most loved and famous sports icons.

In case you are wondering, this is not the first time Shaquille O’Neal has done something like this. Shaq often helps random strangers he meets by paying off their bills and debts.

When a young man entered a jewelry shop to pay off the remaining amount for an engagement ring, Shaq happened to be in the same shop. The moment O’Neal heard the man, he decided to help him out.

O’Neal said, “I was in Zales, looking for some loop earrings. I seen the guy coming in. He was just so shy. He was saying, ‘Hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring?'”

Although the young man was reluctant at first, he let Shaq pay for his engagement ring. While this might be a standout event in the young man’s life, helping strangers is something Shaquille O’Neal does every day.

Shaq told the man, “Don’t worry about it. I do it all the time. I’m just trying to make people smile. That’s all.” This just goes on to show how kind and generous the Los Angeles Lakers legend is.
