Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls go hand in hand. When one talks about the Bulls, there is no way that you cannot mention MJ along with them. Jordan achieved a lot of things in the league and he made the franchise relevant back in the 80s and 90s.

However, since Jordan retired from the league, the Bulls have failed to reach the same height. There was a little ray of hope for the franchise when Derrick Rose was in his prime. But due to unfortunate injuries, he couldn’t lead the team to an NBA Championship.
Fast forward to the 2020-21 NBA season, the Bulls are relying on Zach LaVine to bring some glory to the organization. Can LaVine be the leader for the team that they are in desperate need of? He is trying his best, to say the least.

This season, LaVine is playing lights out. He is averaging a phenomenal 28.5 points per game while shooting 52.0% from the field and 43.7% from beyond the arc. Over the span of the last 10 games, LaVine elevated his game even further.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, he is averaging 31.0 points per game over the last 10 games. In fact, he is the first Bulls player since Michael Jordan to average over 30 ppg in a 10 game span.

Despite his tremendous efforts, the Bulls are still three games below the .500 mark with a record of 12-15. But on a positive note, they are just one game away from being in the top eight teams in the Eastern Conference.

If LaVine continues his insane scoring run, the organization could at least make the NBA playoffs. However, winning the NBA Championship still appears to be a long-term goal for the team.
