NFL and Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce recently weighed in on the Ben Simmons-Sixers drama. His comments about the situation held advice for Ben Simmons. He also appreciated Philadelphia’s sports fans for the unwavering support of their city’s sports teams.

Jason Kelce said, “Everybody can bitch and complain about how tough this city is to play in. Just play better man, this city will love you.” 

Kelce’s comments are a terrible indictment of Ben Simmons’ commitment to the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons has reportedly fallen out with the Sixers’ front office over his play style and dismal performances. The two parties began bickering after their loss to the Atlanta Hawks in Game 7 last season. Since then, Simmons has missed the Sixers’ off-season and their game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Simmons’ Sixers beat Pelicans with a dominant performance

Alongside Embiid, Furkan Korkmaz also scored 22 points and recorded four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. The Pelicans could not build on Brandon Ingram’s performance, who wrapped up the game with 25 points. The Sixers face the Brooklyn Nets next and might miss Joel Embiid because of a sore right knee.
