Furthermore, she said that her wife is at the “absolute weakest moment in life right now” as BG faces nine years in prison.

The Russian court will be hearing appeals from Griner’s side on the 25th of October. This date is quite significant as it can decide whether Griner will return back to the United States or will stay in prison.
