Having entered the Hall of Fame in 2010, Pippen featured in the NBA for as long as 17 years. Combining with the great Michael Jordan, he redefined an entire era of basketball. One of the league’s greatest ever #33, Pippen was a monster on the court. On the rare occasion when the opponent could keep MJ quiet, they would have to deal with the wrath of ‘Pip’. Although he wasn’t lauded enough, he always knew how good he was. Admitting it in a recent interview, the 7-time All-star believed Jordan wouldn’t have been successful without him. It is hard to fathom the impact that the duo and the Chicago Bulls of the 90s had on the sport. And yet, their dominance lives freshly in our minds.

Scottie Pippen asserts how he wants to remembered in the sport

Most recently, Scottie Pippen made the front pages for his criticism of Michael Jordan. Facing the backlash for his ‘Last Dance’ documentary, the 14-time All-star was bashed for building up his own image, while undermining the remainder of his squad. Just when everyone thought all is good in the hood, Pippen took to his memoir to lash out at Jordan. In fact, he laid out that the pair was never that close.

In an exclusive interview on ‘Good Morning America’, Scottie addressed his equation with his legendary compatriot. Amidst the ongoing spat with the beleaguered Jordan, Pippen said he will still always respect ‘His Airness’. In the same chat with Michael Strahan, the former Bull was asked how he desires to be remembered by NBA buffs. In a short, confident response, Pippen replied, “As the greatest of all time!”
