An NBA fan’s experience of watching a big NBA game is incomplete without watching Inside the NBA. The post-game show is often regarded as one of the best post-game shows in sports. Hosted by the ever-charming Ernie Johnson along with analysts Kenny “The Jet” Smith, Charles Barkley, and Shaquille O’Neal, the show is famous among the players and fans alike.

The show is also famous for the camaraderie between the analysts and the fun they have during the live analysis of the games. Charles Barkley is famous for his hilarious quotes and his one such statement had Shaq have a meltdown on live TV.

When Barkley’s comments had Shaquille O’Neal have a meltdown

Charles once said this about the city of San Antonio, “Listen listen, I’m telling you. You know I think it is a great city… I think they got the best organization in the NBA.. but they do have some big old women out there. I mean, come on now.”

He further said, “I’m telling you, man they be whooping down those churros..it took her all day it took her all day to find five skinny women out there.” When Charles said these things, his fellow analyst Shaq had a meltdown because of how funny he found Charles’ comments and couldn’t stop laughing one bit. He laughed throughout Charles’ comments.

Ernie Johnson is the host of the show since the 1990-91 season. Kenny “The Jet” Smith then joined it following his retirement. Sir Charles followed soon in 2000 and Shaq joined in after his retirement in 2011. As of the end of 2022, the show has won seventeen?Sports Emmy Awards.
