Regarding Patrick’s comment about the record possibly breaking at any time and no longer being considered the greatest shooter of all time, Allen assured him that the title still stands and will not change. As he continued, every person has their own perspective on the game, and it has evolved over time.

When asked about his appearance in the games featuring Curry, he said:

“I spoke with people in the Warriors. I actually spoke with Steph a little bit, trying to help him navigate this whole process. It’s an exciting time for him, I try to give him kinda what I was dealing with, going into the game, and everything that led up to it. I was fortunate because I broke the record in Boston against the Lakers with Reggie [Miller] in the building.”

He also spoke about the entire situation stating, “So, it’s just only appropriate that I find my way there, by hook or by crook. I don’t know where it’s gonna be. So I gotta watch this thing. I don’t know if you know, but I am coaching myself, Golden prep here in Miami. We have games as well, so it’s kind of a tricky situation.”
