Drama broke out late in the first half between the Bucks and Jazz. Colin Sexton struck Giannis Antetokounmpo in the face, on his way for the layup. It left the Greek Freak on the floor in pain, burying his face in his palm. The Jazz player didn’t stop there. He dropped a few words to taunt the superstar on his way back to the defense.

In response to the act, Giannis’ teammate Malik Beasley repaid with an ugly swipe at Sexton. The Bucks guard pushed Sexton down, instantly triggering a heated brawl. Players from both sides barged into the scene to separate the duo.

Refs and fellow teammates battled out for a few seconds to separate the players and sent them to their respective benches. At the same time, the refs resumed their duty, replaying the ugly act to make their call.

The replay revealed that Sexton involuntarily elbowed Giannis on his face and taunted him on his way back. Following that, Beasley and Sexton engaged in dragging and pushing. The refs were expected to slap a double technical on Sexton for taunting Giannis and dragging his teammate and a tech for Beasley for starting the brawl.

Instead, the refs ruled out the taunting act and slapped a tech for both players and gave the ball possession to the Milwaukee Bucks. However, the Utah Jazz guard wasn’t happy with the call.

Right after the ref’s decision, Sexton ran back in the court, clapping his hands hard at Beasley, in an intimidating way. On the other hand, Beasley kept his calm and carried on with the game.

Similarly, Colin Sexton turns out to be a bad boy in the making for the Jazz. During the team’s last outing against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Sexton got into his character.

The 25-year-old guard began trash talking with Jalen Brunson in the first quarter. However, it didn’t pay him any dividends, as Brunson ignored it like it never happened. He later went on to drop 29 points to take his side for a 118-103 win.
