The Golden State Warriors are having quite a summer this year. They’ve had a busy free agency right from the start, where they re-signed Draymond Green on a four-year $100 million deal. They also signed 38-year-old veteran Chris Paul while losing young and athletic Jordan Poole.

While Poole didn’t look happy with the trade, as per his social media, he was last seen working on his movements in the gym. On the other hand, his father got into an online argument with Green, which made a former NBA star share his thoughts on the ongoings.

Had Poole stayed on the team, no one can say for sure what could have happened between him and Green. But the Warriors would rather let go of Jordan Poole and hold on to the 4x NBA champion, evidently.

In the aftermath of the altercation between Jordan Poole’s father and Draymond Green, Gilbert Arenas offered his perspective on how he would handle the situation if he were in Poole’s shoes. On his podcast Gil’s Arena, he said that if he were in Poole’s shoes, he would be considerate and set up a meeting between the two of them to have an honest discussion about the matter.

Arenas objected to the idea of his father getting involved on his behalf, saying that it would make him seem frail in the circumstance.

When Green’s clip about his reasoning behind the incident went viral on the internet, Poole’s father expressed agitation against the Warriors forward.? ?I?m stand on this that?s is some bs,??Anthony Poole replied.??Jp was his guy and he avoid me all last yr. However, controversies don’t seem to faze Draymond Green. He didn’t hesitate to respond to Anthony’s comments, tweeting, ?That?s so cute? it?s impossible to avoid you an arena for a year champ. I got get my family from that family room every game. And stop using those words, they usually don?t go over well amongst men.? While Green asked Anthony to remain calm, Gilbert Arenas raised questions about Poole’s father for being involved in the first place.
