There’s something really special about the bond between mothers and daughters. It’s a connection that starts way before the first cuddle or first words — it begins quietly, in the womb, where something unspoken but powerful starts to grow. Savannah James knows that feeling all too well. When she was pregnant with Zhuri, her youngest, she went the extra mile — little gestures, quiet moments, a kind of love that didn’t need words. Their connection was already written deep in their hearts, long before Zhuri even opened her eyes.

On the latest episode of Everybody’s Crazy, Savannah and April McDaniels’ caller brought out the former’s emotional motherhood experiences. So, this caller named Treasure shared her little activities before welcoming her baby. Call it faith or call it frenzy, but she is already shopping for a little girl she has not met yet. The name is ready, and the wallpaper too. Her closet is filling up with dreams stitched into tiny outfits. Because when hope knocks, she believes in answering with love and bags. Is this ‘crazy’?

“No, I don’t think that’s crazy at all. I did the same thing; I had a box. I was so crazy with it that a friend of mine made a box for me and put Zhuri’s name on the top,” Savannah James revealed. “Anytime I bought something I thought was just super cute, I would put it in the box. It was like my prayer box for my baby girl. There you go, I love that. I definitely believe I’m gonna have a girl.”

Savannah James once had a box, not just any box, but one that held tiny treasures and tender prayers. With little Zhuri Nova’s name etched on it, Vannah was sealing every hope with a touch of love. Whenever she saw something adorable, she tucked it in, believing deeply that her baby girl was already on her way.

While those tender memories still tug at her heart, Savannah is not just holding on to the past. She is building something bigger, something lasting, thanks to Zhuri. With the same care she once poured into that tiny box, she is now shaping a dream beyond motherhood. And this time, it comes wrapped in a million-dollar vision that celebrates every girl’s glow.

Savannah James was moved by Zhuri’s words, which helped her in a major business move

On May 15, Savannah James turned her quiet passion into purpose with the launch of Reframe Beauty. With just three thoughtful products, she entered the beauty world with grace and grit. As Beth Gillette of Cosmopolitan asked, “Did you know your love of beauty would turn into a brand, though?” The answer was written in every step Savannah took.

“What really started this journey was my daughter. She told me she wants to be like me. It was so sweet, but so terrifying,” Savannah James shared. “And her reasons were super cute. ‘Mom, you do your makeup so well!’ But that hit me like a ton of bricks, and I really had to reevaluate who I was outside of being a mom and wife.” It truly feels like the time when Zhuri’s words left her mom thinking, who then created Let It Break. “I kind of took a step back. I started to go on a personal development journey and realized that I want to make my mark in the beauty space. It’s always been super fascinating. It’s ever-evolving, and I think that I can contribute to the industry,” Savannah James confessed.
