It looks like baby Curry didn’t want to spoil his father’s Olympic plans by getting late. Stephen Curry announced the birth of their fourth child, Caius Chai, via an Instagram post today. According to the post, little Caius had made his appearance earlier than the Curry family expected.

The date on Steph’s IG post said 11th May 2024. The Warriors superstar and his beloved wife, Ayesha Curry, planned their pregnancy, keeping in mind the 2024 Paris Olympics. ‘Chef Curry’ had missed two Olympic opportunities on account of health and family concerns. However, with the father of four getting close to something of a final run, Steph didn’t want to miss what could very well be his last chance at an international stage to represent his country.
Well, now the NBA power couple wouldn’t have to worry about the birth. Posting an adorable photo on IG. Stephen Curry wrote, “Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!”

As soon as Steph posted the announcement, the comment section overflowed with hearty congratulatory messages for the fourth-time new parents. They, of course, included the WAGs of the NBA world.
The better halves of the NBA players join the fans in congratulating Stephen Curry and Ayesha
La La Anthony, the ex-wife of former NBA star, Carmelo Anthony, came forward with, “Congratulations,” followed by party popper emojis.
Jordyn Woods, the girlfriend of Minnesota Timberwolves star, Karl-Anthony Towns, also joined with another “Congratulations,” followed by a blue and white heart emoji.
And then came supermodel, Winnie Harlow, who is also in a relationship with Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards. She commented, “Congratulations,” with loads of different heart emojis.
Of course, the list won’t be complete with Aunt Sydel Curry-Lee, wife of the Suns’ guard, Damion Lee, and younger sister of the Curry brothers. She commented, “Chai chai,” followed by a hearts-for-eyes emoji. No doubt she was excited to meet the newest member of the Curry clan!
Other than these ladies, Trae Young commented with a folded hand and a champagne bottle emoji, followed by, “More Blessings!!”
Not to mention, the “WNBA Stephen Curry,” Sabrina Ionescu, also commented, “Congrats,” as well as Hailey Bieber. Soon to be a mom herself, Mr. and Mrs. Bieber announced they were expecting their first child not too long ago. The cookbook author had once made an appearance in Hailey’s show, Who’s In My Bathroom With Hailey Bieber.
Anyway, we can’t wait to see Caius Chai’s face! With two older sisters and a brother, there’s no doubt this baby is going to be loved and spoiled so much.
